DOLLAR-YEN: Fed Kashkari remarks that sees no reason to raise rates when
inflation continues to run lower, briefly took Usd/Jpy back under Y111.00
overnight. Rate touched pullback lows of Y110.93 before hawkish rhetoric from
Fed Dudley countered. Japanese demand extended the recovery to Y111.33 but with
lack of follow through drifted for the balance of the session. Resistance is
seen at Y111.37/46 (61.8% Y111.69-110.84, Hourly high). Last Y111.15.
* The US calendar starts today at 1330GMT with the release of Wholesale
Inventories.
* At 1400GMT, the FHFA Home Price Index and the Quarterly Price Index will be
released, alongside the S&P Case-Shiller Home Price Index.
* Further US data from 1500GMT includes the US Building permits revisions, the
Richmond Fed Survey and the Conference Board Consumer Confidence.
* Philadelphia Federal Reserve Bank President Harker is due to speak at 1515GMT.
* Option-expiries today at USD/JPY: Y109.00($550mn), Y112.00-05($1.53bn),
Y112.75($380mn), Y113.75-80($1.4bn).
