Fiala Attends Second Day Of European Council Summit

  • Prime Minister Petr Fiala arrived to the summit of the European Council straight after his trip to Tel Aviv. Fial said that "it is clear who is the culprit in this situation, who is the victim and who is the brutal attacker. This distinction must also be heard in the conclusions of this European Council." In its conclusions released last night, the Council condemned "in the strongest possible terms of Hamas for its brutal and indiscriminate terrorist attacks across Israel".
  • Bloomberg reports that the Chamber of Deputies may discuss the agenda including a legislative proposal to increase parental-leave benefits.
  • Three parties of Czechia's ruling coalition will hold a joint media briefing on the upcoming European elections.
