Finland's Inkoo LNG Facility Set for First Cargo April 2

Finland's Inkoo facility is about to get its first proper LNG delivery, on the Vivit Americas LNG from US Calcasieu Pass. The cargo is due to arrive 2 April, according to ICIS LNG Edge.

  • The Exemplar floating storage and regasification unit arrived at Inkoo in late December to take up its position as the import facility for Finland.
  • It had some LNG onboard the ship already, which it had picked up in a ship-to-ship transfer earlier.
  • The LNG supplies are aimed at helping Finland replace Russian piped flows.
