First Cargo Loads at Hammerfest Following Outage

An LNG tanker has loaded at Hammerfest LNG over the weekend after the resumption of operations last week.

  • The export terminal in Norway had seen an unplanned outage until 14 June having been previously scheduled to return online on 7 June following maintenance. The loading of tankers was last week said to resume when sufficient tank volume was reached.
  • LNG vessel Arctic Princess picked the first cargo loading since the outage and is headed to the Klaipeda terminal in Lithuania according to Bloomberg ship tracking.
