First LNG Regasified At Wilhelmshaven Sent Out Into German Grid

Uniper sent the first LNG regasified at the new floating import terminal at Wilhelmshaven into the German grid on 21 Dec, a company spokesperson said.

  • A total of around 4mcm was sent out into the grid on 21 Dec, according to ENTSOG transparency data.
  • "Commercial operation is still planned to commence mid-January with a maximum daily capacity of about 155 GWh/d", it said.
  • On Wednesday, Germany’s planned Lubmin FLNG Terminal was granted confirmation of the exemption from regulation granted by the German regulator by the European Commission and will start test operations imminently.
