FOREX: Following the lead from core European equities, Wall Street stock markets
opened higher, with S&P futures getting a boost across the opening bell and
stopping just shy of the overnight highs in e-mini S&P at 2,600.25. Move helps
cap US 10y yields which remain in negative territory in early US trading
(2.6952% on last check). The USD index remain in minor positive territory and
well within recent ranges. This, however, has failed to contain commodities
prices which outperform as WTI and Brent add around 2% apiece. Similar moves are
seen in precious metals in early US, as spot gold and silver both advance 0.2%
or so alongside the generally positive commodity complex.
