Foreign Minister Criticises NATO’s “Failed” Ukraine Strategy

  • Hungary had a EUR3.334bln surplus in trade of services in the third quarter, data released by the Central Statistics Office on Wednesday show. Exports of services increased 14.1% y/y to EUR9.219bln, while imports rose 9.8% to EUR5.886bln.
  • NATO member states should rethink their "failed" Ukraine strategy, but most of them show no willingness to do so despite the lack of success seen over the past year and a half, Foreign Minister Szijjarto said in Brussels as per MTI.
  • There are no major data releases scheduled for today. PPI data is on the docket tomorrow (Prior: -2.5% y/y) ahead of final Q3 GDP data (Est: -0.4% y/y), trade balance data and manufacturing PMI figures on Friday.
