FOREX: FOREX: A mixed session for the dollar, as the pair broke through the
solid demand at $1.1575 (Oct 27 low) in early European trade, with the rate
eventually printing session lows of $1.1554. The NY session has seen the pair
being pulled around by US Tsys yields, stocks and gold bouncing between
$1.1560-90.
-AUSSIE: The Aussie was under pressure from the start of the NY session after a
dull European session (0.7652-83) printing early lows of $0.7645.
- Commodities led the pair in the NY session with the rate grinding to session
lows of $0.7627, the recovery was limited to recovery highs of $0.7641.
-YEN: Started to feel the weight of yen crosses and extends the corrective
pullback off earlier traded highs (Y114.34) to Y114.09 ahead of NY.
- Yen was dragged around by US Tsys yields for majority of session and couldn't
find direction, falling to Y113.83 before bouncing back towards Y114.00
-EURO: Spiked 20 pips from session lows of $1.1554 to $1.1578 after Bloomberg
headlines that said key ECB policy makers are reported to have challenged QE
pledge, just ahead of NY. The pair bounced between $1.1560-90 in NY trade.
