UK PRESS: Former Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne is to stand down as
editor of London's Evening Standard newspaper. He has been in the role since
March 2017.
- Osborne, who becomes the paper's 'editor-in-chief' is to be replaced by
Evening Standard columnist Emily Sheffield, the sister-in-law of former PM David
Cameron.
