US: Former Secretary of State for Housing and Urban Development Julian Castro,
who withdrew from the race to become the Democratic nominee for president on 2
Jan, has given his endorsement to Massachusetts Senator Elizabth Warren.
- Leftist Warren sits in third place in the order of likelihood of winning the
Democratic nomination according to betting markets with an implied probability
of 12%. This is behind frontrunner former VP Joe Biden on 35% and Vermont
Senator Bernie Sanders on 24%. 
- In polls released on Sunday for both the Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire
primary (the first contests, set to be held on 3 and 11 Feb respectively),
Sanders and Biden lead Warren:
-- Iowa: Sanders 23%, Biden 23%, Buttigieg 23%, Warren 16%, Klobuchar 7%.
-- New Hampshire: Sanders 27%, Biden 25%, Warren 18%, Buttigieg 13%, Klobuchar
7%.
