France’s LNG Disruption To Continue Until 21 March

Industrial action has forced France’s four LNG import terminals offline since 6 March and strikes are scheduled to last until Monday according to union officials.

  • Elengy’s three LNG terminals, Montoir, Fos Cavaou and Fos Tonkin will be offline until Monday.
  • Strike action at Fluxy’s Dunkerque LNG terminal has been extended until Monday, initially scheduled to end Friday morning.
  • So far at least seven vessels, or a total of 0.7bcm, have been diverted from French LNG terminals with cargoes likely staying in Europe.
