French Nuclear Reactor Availability Drops Further On Strike Action

French nuclear reactor availability has dropped further on Tuesday amid strike action at EdF’s nuclear sites, EdF remit data show.

  • Nuclear reactor has been curtailed by 2.89GW as of 4:30pm GMT. This was up from 1.465GW this morning.
  • Reactors that are running at reduced rates are Gravelines 3, Paluel 2, Catternom 2, Dampierre 2, St Laurent 1, Chinon 2 and St Alban 2.
  • EdF announced its workers will strike for 24-hours starting from Monday evening.
