French Nuclear Reactor Availability Edges Down On Strike

French nuclear reactor availability has dipped on Tuesday morning, after workers at EdF’s nuclear sites announced a 24-hour strike action from Monday evening 9PM, as part of the national protests against the country’s new pension reform, remit data show.

  • Nuclear reactor availability has been curtailed by 1.465GW as of 8AM GMT Tuesday morning as part of the strike action.
  • Reactors that are running with reduced output are Paluel 2, Cattenom 2, St Alban 2.
