French Strike Halts Fuel Deliveries From Three Total Refineries

The one-day strike action in France has disrupted deliveries of fuels from three TotalEnergies oil refineries according to the CGT union.

  • Wholesale supply of fuels including diesel and gasoline have stopped from Total’s refineries in Donges, Normandy and Feyzin.
  • The Fezyin refinery has been forced to cut operating rates to a minimum.
  • The TotalEnergies CEO said earlier that operations at refineries could only be disrupted if the strike lasts several days. The company will put the refineries at a minimum which keeps them functioning and the one day strike action will not disrupt fuel supply, he added.
