Fujairah Oil Product Stocks Hit Two-Week Low

Oil product stockpiles at the UAE’s Port of Fujairah declined by 7.7% week-on-week to 17.406m bbl in seven days to Nov. 27, according to Platts citing data from the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone.

  • This puts stockpiles at a two-week low and down 16% since the end of 2022.
  • Middle Distillates saw gains on the week, the only product to do so, rising 23% to 2.656m bbl. This puts middle distillate stockpiles at a four-month high.
  • Since the start of 2023, heavy distillates stockpiles have fallen 5.9%, Platts said. Light distillates are down 30% and middle distillates have fallen 14%.
  • Exports have jumped from the port in the week to Nov. 20, Platts said citing Kpler data. Refined product exports from Fujairah averaged 5.5m bbl in the week to Nov. 20, over twice the levels exported the previous week.
