Fujairah Stocks: Fuel Oil Rebound And Light Distillates Drop

Oil product stockpiles at the UAE's Port of Fujairah rebounded up 0.8% to 21.97mbbls, in the week ending Aug 29 according to Fujairah Oil Industry Zone data reported by S&P Global. Inventories were 20.21% higher on the year.

  • Stocks of heavy distillates and residues were 11.67mbbls, and 34.4% higher than last year. Fuel oil exports were the lowest since February at 811kbbls, down from 4.076mbbls the previous week according to preliminary Kpler data.
  • Light distillates inventories stood at 7.273mbbls, down 14% from a week earlier. Inventories of the products including gasoline and naphtha are up 29.16% in the past year.
  • Middle distillates inventories climbed 8% to 3.024mbbls with stocks down 23.63% in the past year.
