Future Mukran FSRU Pauses Near Denmark

The Energos Power LNG – the future FSRU for the Mukran LNG terminal - tanker is currently pausing near Denmark and waiting for orders after it had gone into the Port of Rotterdam, though not to the Gate LNG terminal, ICIS LNG Edge data showed.

  • The vessel could potential taking on bunker fuel or waiting for a ship-to-ship transfer, ICIS analyst Alex Froley said.
  • It recently took a cargo in a ship-to-ship transfer at Montoir in France after which id headed east but not signaling Mukran yet.
  • The LNG terminal is scheduled to come online end of February, a Gascade spokesperson said early January.
