Futures Finish Virtually Flat Overnight

Aussie bond futures largely followed the trajectory of the U.S. Tsy curve in after-hours trade, with YM closing unch. and XM 0.5 tick above Sydney settlement levels at the bell.

  • Wednesday will see local focus continue to fall on the Australian COVID dynamic and A$800mn of ACGB 1.50% 21 June 2031 supply. Elsewhere, Q2 wage price data and the latest Westpac leading index reading is due. Participants will also be cognisant of any trans-Tasman impetus from the latest RBNZ monetary policy decision in the wake of yesterday's developments re: NZ COVID matters.
