Futures Off Overnight Lows, 40-Year JGB Supply In View

The major benchmarks along the cash JGB curve were little changed to ~1.0bp cheaper during the Tokyo morning, with futures consolidating in the lower end of their overnight range, sticking to a narrow band to finish the morning session -7 vs. yesterday's settlement level. There was a lack of idiosyncratic news flow, with the modest cheapening in the long end observed ahead of this afternoon's 40-Year supply.
