Futures Recover From Early Losses

Futures rising into positive territory, tracking a bid in US tsys while a move in deeper into negative territory for equity markets in the region, including the KOSPI, also support the move higher in Korea rates.

  • Fears of increased regulatory burden/scrutiny from the Chinese authorities evident in the wake of the crackdown on the education sector is weighing on general sentiment, while comments on the latest meeting between senior U.S. & Chinese officials haven't been particularly encouraging (as was foretold).
