Pressure in EGBs and gilts, outlined elsewhere, applied some pressure to Tsy futures, allowing the latter to break out of narrow early session ranges in the second half of the London morning.

  • Still, the broader weakness has run out of steam for now, with TY bears failing to test/breach yesterday’s lows (none of the major Tsy futures contracts managed to break yesterday’s low on the move).
  • That leaves TY -0-06 at 108-20, 0-00+ off the base of an 0-11+ range.
  • Roll activity continues to artificially boost volumes in holiday-thinned trade.
