Futures Tick Incrementally Higher Overnight, 30-Year JGB Supply Eyed

JGBS

JGB futures added 4 ticks in overnight trade, aided by the dynamic in the U.S. Tsy space, with the contract finishing shy of best levels after failing to break through its Tokyo session high.

  • There hasn’t been much in the way of meaningful domestic headline flow observed since the Tokyo close, with light risk-off flow observed in the wider cross-asset space during recent dealing. The latter may support JGBs at the re-open.
  • 30-Year JGB supply headlines the domestic docket on Thursday.
