Futures Tight, Cash Closed For Holiday

US TSYS

TY futures remain happy to operate in a narrow range, with the presence of the Presidents’ Day holiday and resultant closure in cash Tsys limiting activity.

  • TYH4 last shows -0-02 at 109-22, 0-01 off the base of its 0-06 range, stabilising after an early London tick through Asia-Pac lows.
  • Volume in the contract has barely topped 100K.
  • Initial technical support in the contract comes in at Friday’s low (109-15).
  • Limited European bond gyrations have provided the main impulses from Tsys over the last couple of hours, with macro headline flow subdued.
  • The broader macro risk schedule is light to start the week.
