Gazprom Increases 2022 Investment Programme

Gazprom has increased its 2022 investment programme to 1.98 trillion roubles.

  • The increase is more than 222bn roubles greater than the initial investment plan figure according to a statement today.
  • Additional funds are for development of gas production in the Yamal Peninsula and eastern Russia and for the Power of Siberia pipeline.
  • Capital expenditure raised after robust results for H1 2022. Effects of “lower export volumes were fully mitigated by a higher average gas price” according to Deputy CEO Famil Sadygov.
