Gazprom May Reduce Ukraine Transit Gas

Gazprom may begin reducing gas supplies to the Sudzha GIS for transit through Ukraine to Moldova, as part of Russian gas for Moldova remains in the Ukraine, Gazprom said via messenger service Telegram.

  • Gazprom may begin reducing gas supply through Ukraine on 28 Nov if the transit imbalance persists.
  • “The volume of gas supplied by Gazprom to the GIS Sudzha for transit to Moldova through the territory of Ukraine exceeds the physical volume transmitted at the border of Ukraine with Moldova”, Gazprom said.
  • “The volume of actually supplied Russian gas, in respect of which payment for current supplies in November was violated, is 24.945mcm of gas. The total accumulated volume of sedimentation on the territory of Ukraine is 52.52mcm of gas”, the firm added.
