Germany's Brunsbuettal LNG Project Nearing Implementation

The Hoegh Gannet FSRU returned to Germany's Brunsbuettel port on Friday 10 March after a short period out of the harbour while work took place according to ICIS.

  • It could be delivering gas into Germany in coming weeks.
  • The floating storage and regasification unit for the Elbehafen LNG project operated by RWE is Germany's third FSRU-based import project.
  • Germany currently operate the Wilhelmshaven and Lubmin LNG import projects.
