Germany’s EnerState Eyes 100MW Bosnian PV

German-based firm EnerState has sent a request to Bosnia’s environmental ministry to begin a preliminary EIA for a 100MW PV farm in the country, according to Bloomberg.

  • The plant will be constructed in Sokolac- eastern Bosnia.
  • EnerState entered into a €100mn agreement with the Ministry of Mining of the Serb Republic for the construction and operation of the solar plant in January.
  • The country hopes to meet 43.7% of its consumption by renewables by 2030, according to IRENA.
