BOND SUMMARY: Global core FI is generally back from best levels but left better
bid on the day in the wake of the latest trade war escalation, with headline
flow light elsewhere.
- T-Notes +0-14 at 131-12+, with the curve bull steepening. Eurodollar futures
deal 3.0-7.0 ticks higher through the reds.
- In Australia YM +6.5 with XM +10.0, leaving YM/XM at 24.0, flatter on the day.
Bills trade 3-6 ticks higher.
- JGB futures deal +29 with the curve bull flattening. Eyes are on BoJ Rinban
operations covering 10-25+ Year paper.
- Focus will also fall on the PBoC's daily USD/CNY mid-point fix, due in around
20 minutes time.
