Gov't Considering Second Full National Lockdown: Euronews

Darren McCaffrey at Euronews tweets: "Belgium will decide this weekend whether to impose an immediate second full national lockdown, according to government spokesman Yves Van Laethem. Half country's 2,000 intensive care beds are full, he believes could by the weekend 1,250. Cases still around 17,000 per day".

  • The spike in cases in Belgium has been among the highest of any country worldwide on a per capita basis in recent weeks.
