Greenback Takes Lead In Muted Start

The greenback has found poise after yesterday's slump as participants are reluctant to take on more risk. The BBDXY index has edged higher as e-mini futures have slipped into the red.

  • The yen is the second-best G10 performer, with USD/JPY up 13 pips as we type. AUD/JPY sits a handful of pips lower on the day after four straight days of gains.
  • The Antipodeans have landed at the bottom of he G10 pile. AUD/NZD has crept higher, printing a new one-month high.
  • Major FX crosses have generally held tight ranges so far.
