Headline Jan-15 IPCA Inflation Expected To Dip To 5.83% Y/y

BRAZIL
  • Price gains likely slowed a bit in the mid-January CPI print, shaving a few more basis points off year-over-year inflation. • Data is expected at 1200GMT/0700ET and will be the final reading before the next BCB meeting on Feb 01:
    • Jan. IBGE Inflation IPCA-15 MoM, est. 0.51%, prior 0.52%
    • Jan. IBGE Inflation IPCA-15 YoY, est. 5.83%, prior 5.90%
