Henry Hub Holds Strength With Recovering Sabine Pass Flows

US Henry Hub front month is maintaining the strength with support from recovering pipeline supplies to the Sabine Pass LNG terminal while above normal temperatures across the country are supporting demand.

    • US Natgas JUL 23 up 0.3% at 2.77$/mmbtu
  • The US NOAA 6-14 day weather forecast has cooled slightly on the west coast in the 6-10 day period although remains above normal while above normal temperatures on the Gulf Coast have strengthened in the 8-14 days period. Domestic demand is the just above normal at 69.2bcf/d today according to Bloomberg.
  • Lower 48 dry gas production is steady this week after the dip in mid June with today at 99.8bcf/d.
  • Delivery flows to the US LNG export terminals are higher today at 12.7bcf/d with a recovery in supply to Sabine Pass LNG suggesting an end to the recent maintenance period. Flows to the Corpus Christi terminal are back at the recent normal levels after a small dip yesterday.
  • Export flows to Mexico are today up at a high of 7.4bcf/d today.
