HUNGARY
  • Speaking on state radio this morning, Prime Minister Orban said the EU needs to reconsider sanctions against Russia as they are keeping energy prices elevated, Reuters report. • Orban also said the Draghi report on competitiveness presented at a summit in Budapest a week ago was a "rude awakening" for EU leaders and an incitement to take policy action, MTI report. He said the report on the European economy showed that Europe was on a "suicide" path.
  • There are no economic releases scheduled for today, with focus turning to the NBH rate decision next week (Nov 22).
