ICE Brent October Option Expiry – Friday 25 August 2023 at 19:30BST close
- A total of 460mbbls of open Oct23 Brent options positions are currently due to expire on Friday 25 August. Current open interest is 226k for calls contracts and 234k for puts.
- The aggregate open interest across all ICE Brent options is 1.471m of calls and 1.177m of puts contracts.
- The biggest nearby strikes of interest are either side of the current market at 80$/bbl and 85$/bbl with put interest also at 83$/bbl and 81$/bbl
