US: In a joint appearance that could have proved difficult, Sec. of State Mike
Pompeo and UK Foreign Sec. Dominic Raab did their best to show a united front.
- On issue of intelligence sharing between the two countries, that some in UK
feared could be hit by allowing Chinese-owned Huawei access to 5G infra, Pompeo
stated "The 5 Eyes relationship is deep and will remain", and that, "I'm very

advocating "the free flow of talent, information, capital, and goods".
