CHINA PRESS: In a meeting in Beijing on Monday of Tsinghua University scholars

and entrepreneurs including Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and Apple Chief

Executive Officer Tim Cook, Chinese President Xi Jinping said China would

develop a "higher-level" economy, China Central Television reported. Xi told the

meeting participants that China's economic development goal is to build a

modernized economic system based on quality and efficiency, and also to enhance

productivity, innovation and competitiveness. Xi said China would still stick to

its "new development" idea and supply-side reform as its main guidelines,

facilitate innovative industrialization and improve its marketized economic
