BOJ: In a RTRS interview ex BOJ member Ishida suggested that the Bank may dial
back stimulus before it meets its price goal, although he doesn't expect the
Bank to rush the desired steepening of the JGB curve.
- Ishida went on to state that "steps to make monetary policy flexible long were
overdue," and that the "inflation target is a mechanism, not the goal, of
MonPol."
- Ishida also warned that the "BOJ's credibility will be hit if it incurs
losses."
