India’s LNG consumption increased by 6% on the year in April to 5.515bcm but was down 1.4% on the month, according to data from the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell.

  • Imports were up by 4% on the year at 2.608bcm, representing a rise of 3.41% on the month also.
  • Production was up 9% on the year but fell 5.4% on the month to 2.907bcm.
