Indonesia Seeks Investment For Upstream Oil And Gas

The Indonesian energy ministry launched a bidding round on four oil and gas blocks, as it seeks more investment in the upstream oil and gas sector, the ministry said.

  • Indonesia set a target to reach 1mbpd of oil and 12bcfpd of gas in 2030, to meet domestic energy demand, Indonesian energy minister Arifin Tasrif said.
  • The four blocks have combined estimated resources of 3,730mn b of oil and 300bcf of gas.
