Indonesian LNG Vessel Diverts - Possibly for Europe

LNG

TotalEnergie's LNG vessel Alliance has diverted away from the Arun storage hub in Indonesia towards the Suez Canal - possibly for a delivery in Europe, according to ICIS.

  • The vessel has a cargo from Qalhat in Oman loaded on 29 March. It was originally signalling for Arun on 12 April but is now signalling for the Suez Canal on 12 April.
  • Total in particular has had to re-arrange and reschedule a lot of cargoes recently due to strikes over the last month at French LNG import terminals.
  • French LNG deliveries have ended up in other regions like the UK and Spain.
