ECB: Information from survey, high frequency indicators etc show a further
significant contraction in GDP during the second quarter. Most recent indicators
suggest some bottoming out of the downturn in May as the economy gradually re
opens. Euro area activity is expected to rebound in the third quarter, supported
by favourable financing conditions and expansionary fiscal stance. Although,
speed and scale of rebound remains highly uncertain.
