UK: Intensifying rumours that the UK gov't will move to the next stage of its

efforts to contain COVID-19 in the capital by forcibly closing all pubs,

restaurants, and gyms in London. 

- Measures would be announced as part of PM's daily 1700GMT press conference,

alongside the measures expected from Chancellor Rishi Sunak to support wages. 

- Would mark the most extreme measures taken by UK gov't so far in trying to

combat the virus with regards to individuals' personal liberties. 

- Still short of measures taken in several European states, where individuals

have to prove a reason for their leaving their homes.
