GERMANY: IP&E Magazine highlight that German companies will soon face a new
legal framework (the Betriebsrentenstaerkungsgesetz or BRSG) in which companies
will be obliged to pay 15% of salaries into pensions. 
- The laws become obligatory in 2019 for new plans but "existing plans have
until 2022 to adapt". 
- The reform will allow pension fund to be set up without guarantees (i.e. pure
defined contribution plans rather than defined benefit) from January 2018.
- The pension fund industry's pension plan has already announced that it will
offer plans without guarantees for member from January 2018.
