The Israeli PM's office has confirmed that Benjamin Netanyahu will deliver a televised address to the nation at 2000 local time (1300ET, 1800GMT), with the expectation that the PM will confirm agreement on a ceasefire with Hezbollah to bring an end to the conflict in Lebanon. The identity of who announces the ceasefire is yet to be confirmed, as CBS News posts on X, that "President Biden is expected to announce Tuesday that the US and France secured a cease-fire in Lebanon, ending the fighting there between Israel and Hezbollah, [...]. This full, permanent cease-fire would end the deadliest war in Lebanon since the Lebanese civil war ended in 1990. Under the deal, a cease-fire would be immediately implemented."
- The ongoing discussions within the 13-member Security Cabinet continue as the IDF launches a major set of airstrikes against the Lebanese capital, Beirut. The IDF claims that its strikes hit Hezbollah targets in the city.
