Israel's First Crude Cargo Signals for Rotterdam

Israel’s first export of domestic crude is currently signalling for Rotterdam.

  • It left the Karish offshore oilfield February 14 and is understood to have around 700,000 bbls on board according to Tanker Trackers.
  • The EU is anticipated to be the top importer from the field once exports properly get underway.
  • The Karish field, situated around 75km off the coast of Haifa, produces mostly natural gas. It also contains around 61 million barrels of crude oil and gas condensate.
