US TSYS: It has been a sedate session for the space, with modest risk-on flows
elsewhere applying minimal pressure to Tsys, and little reaction to the latest
BoJ MonPol decision, which saw the Bank cut its inflation outlook.
- Yields sit marginally higher in cash trade.
- Bigger picture themes remain in play i.e. the Sino-U.S. trade war & the U.S.
gov't shutdown. On the latter, two financing bills will be voted on in the
Senate Thursday, one from each side of the aisle, with neither expected to pass.
- The Fed remains in blackout ahead of next week's MonPol decision.
- The Eurodollar strip trades unchanged to 3.0 ticks lower across the whites and
reds.
- T-Notes last 121.13+, U.S. 10-Year cash Tsy yields last 2.748%.
