BOND SUMMARY: It has been a very quiet session so far for core government bonds.
Despite an upward move around 8am GMT as gilts opened which helped pull Bunds
higher, moves since have largely been subdued.
- Gilts are the outperformers with 10y yields 3.0bp lower at 0.75% today while
USTs and Bunds are also higher on the day.
- There has been little in the way of market moving headlines or data this
morning with US November durable goods orders later today the highlight of the
calendar with US new home sales also scheduled.
- TY1 futures are up 0-2+ today at 128-10+ with 10y UST yields down -1.6bp at
1.902% and 2y yields up 0.1bp at 1.631%.
- Bund futures are up 0.16 today at 171.70 with 10y Bund yields down -0.7bp at
-0.261% and Schatz yields down -0.4bp at -0.647%.
- Gilt futures are up 0.39 today at 132.16 with 10y yields down -3.1bp at 0.749%
and 2y yields down -1.8bp at 0.523%.
