JGBS: It was a relatively quiet start to the week for the JGB space, with the
long end of the curve experiencing some underperformance on the back of the
BOJ's adjustment to the lower & upper bounds of its 25+ Year JGB purchases in
its October purchasing plan back on Friday.
- This week's supply schedule may also be adding some additional pressure to the
long end, with no longer dated Rinban purchases due until after Tuesday's
10-Year JGB auction & Thursday's liquidity enhancement auction for 15.5-39-Year
JGBs.
- A generally soft Tankan survey provided some modest support to futures in
early dealing.
