Italy and France lead

  • Italian BTP and French OAT are still leading in Futures, help the spread against the German 10yr tighter, Italy by 2.5bps, and France 1bp.
  • BTP/Bund eye another test at the 170bps figure, one of the initial support target for desks last week, which held.
  • OAT/Bund trades at its tightest level since 22nd September, with support seen at 52.8bps followed by the more important 50bps, this would also be the lowest print since mid June.
