Janaf, Mol Sign Crude Oil Transport Deal

Croatian oil pipeline operator Janaf has signed oil transportation and storage contracts with Hungarian energy group MOL as Hungary moves to cut its reliance on Russian crude, Janaf said.

  • Under the deal, Janaf will transport 2.9mn tonnes of oil and will store 79,385 cubic meters of oil at the Omisalj terminal, as well as 70,000 cubic meters of crude oil at the Sisak terminal. The deal guarantees safe supply to the oil refineries in Hungary and Slovakia.
  • The previous deal expired on 31 March.
